About the School
Founded on the Christian values, our school does its best to help students with their new life and academics in Japan. Since we also encourage our students to continue their studies, many of our graduates enter universities, graduate schools, and vocational schools every year.
Our school is located in Shinjuku-ku, the central part of Tokyo, and is close to Shinjuku, Shin-Okubo, Seibu Shinjuku, and Higashi Shinjuku Stations. There are foreign restaurants and stores, where you can purchase all kinds of household items.
The majority of students are in their 20s, but there are also students who are teenagers or those who are in their 30s.
There are four intake periods in a year January, April, July, and October. Students can register both for long-term (up to 2 years) and short-term programs (3 months).
The school demographics as of January 2019 consist of over 1700 students from 10 countries: 55% are Chinese, 25% Vietnamese, 7% Nepali, 5% Burmese, 3% Korean, 3% Sri Lankan, and 2% other nationalities.
Our school organizes tours to various places such as Disneyland, DisneySea, Mother Farm, Nikko Edomura, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, holds sports events and speech competitions.
After entering Japan, students cannot open local bank accounts to receive overseas remittance for 6 months. Please bring at least 150,000 yen for living expenses at the beginning.

About Living in Japan
Our school administration managers speak fluent Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Nepali, Burmese, Sri Lankan language, and they are always there for you. Furthermore, during the Orientation, we explain general rules and manners in Japan in seven different languages in detail. We also inform our students about JLPT, EJU, academic calendar, and the way classes are managed.
For student visa holders, it is necessary to obtain work permit at the airport during the arrival or visit the Immigration Bureau for it later. Those who receive permission are allowed to work 28 hours a week. However, there are some jobs that are prohibited for foreign students, such as cabaret, mahjong, pachinko, clubs, love hotels, massage salons, handing out illegal flyers etc. Our school also helps student to be ready for job interview and writing resume.
For those who stay in Japan more than three months, it is required to apply for National Health Insurance. (It is not available for those who came to Japan with a short-term visa.)
It is very important to take care of your health. You should check and memorize the information about the hospital located near your house. You can get more information on our school website.
According to Japanese law, students holding visa with a validity period less than 6 months, are not allowed to open bank accounts. It is possible to open an account at Japan Post Bank, but only domestic remittance is allowed.
It depends on the person, but on average it is about 60,000-100,000 yen per month (excluding the accommodation fee)

About Admission Period and Course Duration
There are four semesters in a year: January (1 year and 3 months), April (2 years), July (1 year 9 months), and October (1 year and 6 months).
