I have been fond of chemistry since I was a junior high school student. For this reason, I wanted to continue studying chemistry at university. While improving my Japanese level at Tokyo Waseda Foreign Language School, I also learned basic knowledge of chemistry at an academy. As a result, I was accepted to University of Tsukuba. I think the most crucial point in preparation for higher education is to clarify your goals and make a plan. I wish you try your best to achieve your goals.

Faculty of Letters, Keio University

I decided to study abroad in Japan since I liked Japan and its literature. I studied Japanese hard at Tokyo Waseda Foreign Language School. At the same time, I used my time outside of class to read various books. My Japanese has improved surprisingly well, and lead me to acceptance to Keio University. My recommendation is that all students studying in Japan to value their studying time at school and broaden their Japanese proficiency by reading many books.

For me, a person who wasn't good at Japanese yet, everything was a new challenge. My classroom teacher not only taught me the language, but also gave me helpful advice on putting my university application together. I also got to experience a lot of new things during my studies at the Japanese language school such as writing my essay for the first time or making friends from foreign countries. Time spent at Tokyo Waseda has become an unforgettable and very valuable experience for me.

Studying abroad life is not always only fun, there may be hard times as well. I believe, however, that those who can overcome the difficulties will find their way to success. Your efforts may not be always bringing great results, but you are certainly not getting anywhere if you don't make those efforts at all. It is also important to set reasonable goals and plans. For example, now English is required to enter most of the universities, and as it is very difficult to study for both TOEFL and EJU exams, it's better to take either one in advance, isn't it? I really hope all of you will successfully enter the schools of your dream and follow your aspirations!

I have always been good at Math, but the teachers at the Japanese language school particularly helped me a lot by encouraging my language studies on my path of becoming a scholar. With the careful guidance of school teachers and my own effort I successfully passed the entrance examination to the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Tokyo Metropolitan University. My one-year-long study experience at the Japanese language school taught me to always follow my dream.

Faculty of Business Administration, Asian University

I came to Japan highly motivated to work towards my goal, and while studying at Tokyo Waseda Foreign Language School I have also been doing a part-time job. Thanks to the teachers, I smoothly got familiar with Japanese culture and lifestyle and learned how to enjoy living in Japan. I've never skipped a single class and after the school acknowledged me as an excellent student, I even became one of the scholarship recipients. The teachers at Tokyo Waseda Foreign Language School have really treated the students' problems like their own, and thanks to my classroom teacher I was able to enter Asia University, where I am now a first-year student at the Faculty of Business Administration. I believe that in universities I can have even more experience of all kinds and I will eventually find a good path for my future.

Department of Sociology, Meiji Gakuin University

There was a time when I wasn't happy about something, or the time of hesitation - I think I have experienced all kinds of feelings during the two years of my study program. At some point, studying Japanese got really difficult too, which is when I felt like there is a wall that wouldn't let me make progress anymore. However, now when I am a student at Meiji Gakuin University, I realize that all this time I've been walking down my study abroad path that led me here. I think that some international students do not get confused or hesitant easily, but I also believe that studying abroad is not an easy choice. I hope that all students at Tokyo Waseda Foreign Language School get to achieve their goals. I would like to wish good luck to everyone, and I will keep doing my best as well.

My purpose of study abroad was to pass an excellent graduate school for developing myself. I once had a lot of troubles in my studies and life, but I overcame it to enter the graduate school I wanted. I am proud of that I am able to study at Tohoku University Graduate School. There is a Chinese saying that, "There is nothing you can't do if you work hard." We hope that your efforts will be rewarded.

Graduate School of Business Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tsukuba

Since I majored in Japanese at university in China, I had no problems with Japanese grammar and words. However, I lacked the ability of speaking Japanese. While studying with teachers of Tokyo Waseda Foreign Language School, I could speak Japanese with correct pronunciation. This helped me to interact naturally with my Japanese friends. Revising the graduate school research plan with teachers, I was able to apply successfully. I am currently studying at University of Tsukuba as I wish. It is important to value your time and study Japanese well during Japanese school time. I believe that a wonderful future will come to you.

My dream was to challenge myself while continuing to study. There were interesting classes and fun extracurricular activities at the Japanese language school, but there were times when I almost gave up because of the difficulties. However, the teachers gave me a lot of advice and always supported me. I found my goal in life by studying abroad. I'm sure you'll have a lot of choices and worries in your future life, but you shouldn't give an answer right away. You may find your dream by challenging many things. Everyone, please keep in mind that dreams will come true.

Japanese language school is not just a place to study Japanese, because the teachers there really helped me with daily life, too. So if you ever have troubles in your life, do take the chance of having a consultation with your teacher. Also, do not worry about passing or not the exam to the university of your dream. Either way, that school is not the end of life, and the knowledge you gained will certainly help you in many ways in the future. Keep your eyes open for the opportunities and your future path will get clearer. But first, give it a try.
